The props we would use in our teaser trailer are conventional props that our audience would expect in horror films but mainly in slasher films. These props would be; a conventional phallic weapon for the antagonist which would be a knife in our teaser trailer; fake blood to also show gore, violence and death which makes the film a horror film; dark costume to hide the mysterious antagonist as we wouldn't want to show too much of him; and lastly a bell to mimic a house bell which is conventionally used in stock situations to draw the attention of the audience and victim to it instead of the antagonist behind.

The audience we felt was suitable for our teaser were teenagers but specifically those in their mid teens so we decided to give our trailer a 15 certificate meaning viewers 15 and over and legally able to watch our teaser trailer. I believe this is suitable for my trailer as teenagers are mainly drawn to violence and suspense which would relate to the sub genre of the trailer because it is a slasher which involves a lot of death and violence. We also felt like this is a suitable certificate for our trailer as teenagers are also involved heavily in the film. This allows us to make our trailer relate to their lives, making the impact of the subtext which is teenage punishment because of disobeying laws, stronger. Despite being classified as a 15 rated, our trailer would still appeal to an older audience who would get a visceral pleasure of seeing younger people being punished for their actions.
